This is a special piece that I personally have not seen around elsewhere. While based on a design she was doing in the early 2000s, this particular piece was custom designed in Egypt by Amira el Kattan / Pharaonics of Egypt for Washington, D.C. professional dancer Miasia, who I bought it from in 2013 or 2014. Miasia never performed in it, and I only danced in it one time.
It includes a skirt, top, sleeves, headband, and anklets. The fabric is like an impressionist painting! All the fasteners are zippers, and it is easy to get on and off, and it is light and comfortable and femme and glamorous and the skirt spins sooo beautifully.
Note you can wear your own bra underneath this very easily.
I have a perfectly matched body stocking I will include as well if you would like. It wasn't original to the costume, but it goes perfectly. It is a sheer and very lightweight sleeveless leotard.
Scroll images below horizontally for additional photo and measurements. The costume is super stretchy and can work on a variety of bodies, or a body that changes. Note I am 5'10" and this was juuust a little large for me. I think it would would be ideal on someone who is a US18 to 24.
$500

The costume in action
Note I am wearing a very sheer green tinted body stocking here that did not come with the original costume/ Happy to include it!
1990s era Cairo stage dancer style, aka the best era and style of raqs in my not so humble opinion. I hate to let this dream dress go, but she needs to shine!
This is an Amira el Kattan / Pharaonics of Egypt dress made in Cairo with lots of fun accessories. Super strong lycra hugs the body and shows every movement. Black base with brigt beading to mimic a bedla. A special piece.
Scroll images below horizontally for additional photo and measurements. Note I am 5'10" and this fit me when I ranged between a US womens size 16 to 20.
$500 includes dress, sleeves, headband, and anklet.

The costumes below have sold. I'll leave the listings up for a bit as it may be useful to see pics of how things fit me when considering my other offerings. Thanks!
This is a great dress in a wonderful shade of green featuring big bell sleeves. This is a solid piece that has been danced in a lot, and has a lot of life left to give!
Note I added gold panels in the side slits and at the top (booboflauge!). It can all be removed.
Scroll images below horizontally for additional photo and measurements. Note I am 5'10" and this fit me when I ranged between a US womens size 16 to 20. I think it could work well on a slightly shorter dancer.
